Fennell Cutom Homes is a small, client-focused custom home builder operating in the Mt. Pleasant / Charleston, South Carolina area.
We have two primary goals as a company:
Creating outstanding, one-of-a-kind custom homes specifically suited to the needs of
our clients, and doing so in a cost effective manner;
Minimizing the stress for our clients in the homebuilding process, and
making it an exciting, enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
We believe that, in order to achieve these goals, we must remain small, having only one or two homes under construction at any one
time. This allows us to give you and your new home all of the personal attention you require and deserve.
Steve Fennell (South Carolina Residential Builder License No. 21464) is the principal of Fennell Custom Homes. Steve is involved in
the planning and construction of your new home every step of the way. When you decide to work with us, you will not be assigned
to a less-experienced superintendent or project manager; Steve will be on-site at your new home every day during construction. Our
intensive, hands-on approach to building allows us to avoid many potential construction problems and, for those that do arise, address
and deal with them immediately. This approach also results in far fewer construction delays; most of our homes can be completed within
a six to eight month time frame, resulting in considerable savings for our clients in interest on their construction loans.
We'll be there to help make your home totally unique to your style and tastes. We'll walk you through the design phase to make certain
that, inside and out, your new home works for the way you live. We'll also guide you through the selections phase, helping you pick
out the finishes, from light fixtures to flooring, from appliances to paint colors, that will help make your new house a home.
